Often there are many hidden charges in the moving business. Not at Action Express. We do not charge for tape, blankets, dollies, wardrobe boxes, or use of any equipment, including the truck itself. In addition, there is no premium charged for packing boxes or flights of stairs. You have the option of being charged an all inclusive rate or a flat hourly rate
The following are average costs for local moves:
studio: $282- $484
SMALL ONE BEDROOM: $363- $605
LARGE ONE BEDROOM: $484-$888
SMALL 2 BEDROOM: $740-$1036
LARGE 2 BEDROOM: $1036-$1628
Hourly rates are based on:
2 men w/truck: $94 hr
3 men w/truck: $121 hr
4 men w/truck: $148 hr
$27 hr for each additional man
Travel time is added to all moves. The rate for local moves is 1 hr, and your rate may vary depending on both addresses
The clock begins upon arrival, the clock ends upon completion of work and return of equipment to truck. Price includes use of truck with movers, labor, dollies, pads, tape, 2 bin boxes, and up to 4 wardrobe boxes. Your price may vary depending on access (flights of stairs, elevators, or long carry), and distance from pick up to drop off, but there are no extra premium charges. (additional hours, not premium charges.) (Note: When estimating, the amount you're moving is the point, not the size of the space you're going from or to.)
Additional services offered by Action Express are Box Delivery, Moving Insurance and On-Site Packing prior to the move date, all at very affordable prices.
